I use joomla.digital-peak.com/products/dpfields to add fields to my content. Do you see any chance to integrate that into zenntools so I can use the fields in the "Item layout"?

At some point I will add a generic option that will allow you to retrieve data from a specified database table so support for Dp Fields may well fall under that as a content source.

The next version of Zentools will introduce a plugin system that will make this much easier to create.

It's going to take some time to implement this and a custom fields plugin wont be in the initial release. So you will need to look at other options if you need it that quickly.

Can you quantify "some time", e.g. 1 month or 1 year?

I need more time to look into what's involved but I wouldn't think it would be in the next two months and that's if we decide it's possible and also decide to move ahead with the integration.

I would think if your need is urgent you should look for another solution as I can't give you a firm commitment for this addition.
