zentools ajax content load

Is it possible for Zentools to load added content via AJAX?

Workflow: a user or the admin adds an article to a category that is feeding the carousel. The carousel does an AJAX call to the db (lets say every 1 min) to see if any articles were modified or new articles added and pulls that content. With that other users would not need to refresh the website to get the latest content in the carousel.

Thats on my list for sure.

I would see two types of ajax interactions with loading more items:

1. Load more button for grid type layouts
2. Slideshow / carousel load more items when you get to the end of the items.

This is afew versions off at this stage though. But it's certainly on my list.
