Little confused on adding video to Filter layout.

The filter layout has a video item that you can use, but the video item documentation says it uses Youtube or Vimeo items in the introtext.

Does this work like a plugin whereas if I put a link before the reader of an article Zentools2 would recognize it as a video element or do I need to get embed code first, add that in an article's html source, add a readmore, make sure the video element is enabled for the filter layout?

Have you tried with an iframe?

Try using iframes and in the module select intro text

I just tested it and seems ok for me
