Causing site icon to appear in address bar

Does Responsive2 have its own mechanism for display of a site's icon (favicon.ico) in the address bar?

We've tried the methods suggested here:
docs.joomla.org/Changing_the_site_favicon

This includes putting the favicon.ico file in /[root]/chigov/templates/responsive2/ .

Hi Jim,

No its the standard way of doing it

You add it to the root of the template folder

With favicons they can be slow in displaying I've found - clearing the cache is normally required

I test in a browser I don't use in development and see if it shows
