Hi

I have images in grid positions 1-4 but I want them to display 2 across on mobile phones.
They either stack, or display all four positions at once.
I've tried @media to reduce their width but it's not working for me.

Hi Ian,

You would need to create a media query so its 2 positions rather 4

This would probably be easier using the shortcodes to divide up one position rather than work for four different ones

You could also try using zentools2 for the columns but not sure how familiar you are with this it

Hi Paul - thanks for getting back to me.
Hadn't thought about using columns. I have done this before...
Haven't looked at shortcodes before.
I started out using a zentools grid, but changed my mind - would I be better off doing this rather than grid positions?
I'll look at it again tomorrow.

Just to perhaps throw something unrelated to the question in

We are releasing a new version of responsive in the next day or two

It uses a different framework version - just thought I'd mention it.

With you on the cold - I have 4 rescue dogs from Spain who are praying for some nice warm sun

Hi Paul - interesting that you take in rescue dogs. Why from Spain?
My middle son is working in Barcelona at the moment - he may need rescuing soon!

I use Responsive2 a lot - will the updated version break my existing sites if I decide to upgrade them all?

Hi Ian,

I just wanted you to know in regard to the new site as you were in the process of building a new site

You would maybe have to move module content around a little for existing sites

It is laid out differently admin wise so I would try it first on a new build site first

Regarding Rescuing dogs from Spain, it's due to the sheer cruelty that exists over there especially to the Galgos dog breed from the huge hunting section of society.

I'm hesitant to add many links given the graphic nature of what happens over there - once a Galgos dog is deemed no longer required it is killed - this happens to thousands of dogs each year.

This is an organisation that works hard with Galgos - galgosdelsol.org/what-is-a-galgo/

"Galgos are widely used by hunters in the rural areas of Spain for both hunting and hare coursing with betting. They are considered disposable and when the short hunting season ends each year, tens of thousands are abandoned or brutally killed by their owners to whom they are no longer of use. "

Thousands of others are simply abandoned to starve - I have Noa a mini Galgos type who was abandoned and three others rescued from an abandoned puppy mill flat.

I volunteer to help with the admin and some tech stuff for a facebook group, who rescue dogs off the streets and adopt them all over Europe and the US/Canada.

Yes its found inside the buildr template as the responsive theme

Its a sub theme so you select it in the template settings

I'd suggest downloading the quickstart and seeing how its all put together before you move to this version

Its a little different as its a new framework version

Yes you should be fine

It may be possible extensions from other providers may trip up but we have no reports of any JB stuff being a problem
