loadposition

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi

I'm trying unsuccessfully to get a zentools slideshow to run in a custom html module.

I'm sure I've done this before, but it's not working for me.

The load content plugin is enabled, the module is set to show on all pages, and I have content specified in the module layout.

The site is www.avrsonline/new-site, J 3.4.8, and the {loadposition maintainer} script is appearing in the logo position at the top of the page where it ought to be. But no slideshow.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian,

have you enabled js in the module?

Hi paul - thanks for getting back to me.

I've tried it both ways and it makes no difference...

Sorry - it's {load position mainbanner} - predictive text again!

Hi Paul - loadposition not working at all :-(

The link only works with the http:// - www.avrsonline.co.uk/new-site/

Why's that?

Quite a few people seem to have had this problem with load position in Joomla 3.4.x, but I can't find a thread anywhere which helps me.

Fancy new Mac doesn't make me any cleverer...

Thanks

Hi Ian,

Try adding via the html editor window rather than the article editor view

I sometimes find this a problem myself

Hi Paul - I've tried it both ways, with load jQuery on and off, but still no joy.

Have I done something stupid again?

Thanks

"I've tried it both ways" - you mean adding using the html editor window?

Hi Ian,

If you add it to a different position does it work there?

Perfectly :-)

I was creating a custom html mod, inserting the gallery, then putting the whole lot into logo position.

If I put the gallery directly into the logo position it works fine.

Why am I so stupid?

Thanks Paul

This may or may not be relevant for future reference :)

If you are loading a module into a custom html module - make sure prepare content is activated in the custom html module

it's a button can't quite remember in what tab as away from my desk

I know where it is - never quite sure what it does. I'll try to remember it now.

Sometimes the best place to be is away from your desk - especially today. Brilliant sunshine and no wind. I'm off for a cup of tea in the garden...

Thanks again
