Hidden folder and files

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I recently used myjoomla.com to audit a new site installation, test2.chigov.com.

The audit reported hidden folders that it described thus: "Our audit checked through your web space looking in all folders for any folder names that were prefixed with dot notation . . . Joomla doesn't need hidden folders, so there should be no need for them."

The audit found this hidden folder:

/templates/responsive2/zengrid/libs/lessc/lib/Less/.easymin

The folder contains one file, ignore_prefixes, with this content:
.easymin
Autoloader.php

The audit also found these hidden files:
/templates/responsive2/zengrid/libs/frameworks/bootstrap3/.csscomb.json
/templates/responsive2/zengrid/libs/frameworks/bootstrap3/.csslintrc
/templates/responsive2/settings/layouts/.json

Should I be concerned about these files and the folder?

Hi Jim,

Those files are all in the release package of the framework. They are used or can be found in the various libraries we use. But I'm not sure if they are required for the operating of the functionality.

/templates/responsive2/settings/layouts/.json file can be deleted though.

Helps that helps.
