Hi - I've just upgraded www.financingfirst.co.uk/newsite to J 3.4.5 and I'm getting this error on the home page:

Fatal error: Class 'JDocumentHTML' not found in /home/financin/public_html/newsite/templates/responsive2/zengrid/zen.php on line 37

This is what I actually have on line 37 of zen.php:

$this->joomla = new JDocumentHTML();

I can get into the admin area.

Any idea where I'm going wrong?

Have uninstalled any previous framework versions e.g. zen grid framework version 2 etc?

Just uninstalled zen grid framework 2.3.1 (I think) but it hasn't helped…

Template overview says built with zen grid 4, but I don't see that in extension manager.

The template is Responsive 2 v 1.4.1

I don't have zen short codes or zen menu installed...

Have you uninstalled everything that doesn't work in J3+?

I think I've disabled everything, not necessarily uninstalled…

You are not using the real site to upgrade I'm assuming?

Hmmm. I've found one called Vertical Scrolling Ticker which won't uninstall.

I can't find any reference to in phpmyadmin - but I am a bit out of my depth here.

Any ideas?

Hi Ian,

There must be an extension installed which is not compatible with Joomla 3.

The error:

500 - JHtmlBehavior::mootools

Means that an extension is trying to call the mootools javascript library which has been removed from the Joomla core.

Check through all your modules and plugins and disable any 3rd party extensions until the error is removed.

From the look of the live site you have an ajax contact form which relies on the mootools library.

Also the rokbox plugin.

Hi guys - and Happy New Year!

Sorry for the long gap - my bug turned into shingles - sort of grown up chicken pox. It's wiped me out for a month!

However, back on my feet now and back to the upgrade.

I've followed the advice and uninstalled everything I can see, and now have a lovely new error message…

Because it's new, I'll start a new thread.
