I asked the question in this message but I never really got an answer.
Why the maximum width of the template is increased each time to 60px?
If the maximum width of the template is 1000px finally I get 1060px, 960 -> 1020px, ...
This is valid for all templates that use Zen Grid Framework v4.

"With the 1000px the 60px gutter is the result of the 6% gutter set in the template framework. The maths are 6% of 1000px equals 60px. So 1000(px) x 6(%) / 100 = 60(px). If you want to use one of your grid calculators from the links you posted you can change the 6% gutter in the template setting to a suitable gutter for your project in pixels. In your case you suggest, 8px, 20px or 32px. If you use these numbers in pixel the JB/zgf4 framework will calculate the grid size, which should then match your mockup design."

Hi Lorenzo,

There is a negative margin applied to the template container equal to the width of the gutter. But in this case the width of the container isn't getting offset by the margin.

I've just made the change to the framework here and will push that change out int he next update - which I hope to start rolling out today.

You will just need to re-install the template via the standard installer

you DON'T uninstall anything

Please take a backup first

Hello,
I think you have the same problem for the Venture template
Here settings in Venture administration template:




and look the dimensions template in front-end, they are not the same...



Edit: sorry, I'm wrong for the gutter… If I calculate 1140x3/100 = 34,2 in front-end I've a 34,2px gutter, it's approximately correct, but i think there is a problem with the max-width dimension of the template, like it was for Responsive2 template.

Yes sorry for the trouble.

The fix is in the framework but Venture hasn't been updated yet. Will hopefully do that this week.,
