Are you able to get into the back end of the site?

Are you updated to the latest version of Joomla? - might be worth a try updating to latest version

No problem getting into the back end.
3.4.1
I just updated to 3.4.3
Problem persists.

From the back end: modules > banner slogan - at the top of the page:
Error
Check-out failed with the following error: The user checking out does not match the user who checked out the item.
I quit and clicked on this module again. The error went away.
Using Chrome:
In the address bar www.my-web-metrics.com and the browser shows www.my-web-metrics.com/defaultsite
Using IE:
The page displays correctly.
Using FF:
The page displays correctly.
Something with Chrome?
I'll clear the cache, bookmarks, dust and lint.

The admin checkout issue may relate to the database - did you repair?

extension manager > Database >fix

I'll need to check with the team regarding the front end issue

Did the fix. No difference.

Cleared Chrome cache, cookies, etc. Now life is good.
