How to increase the width of banner and the content?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I tried to find the layout folder; I can't locate to edit.. Can anyone help me how do I increase the width of the banner and content area? The width is too narrow, and it's not exactly as seen in the demo.. I'm having hard time figuring out..

Thanks in advance!

I could able to widened the banner, however, I'm still trying to minimize the gap between the banner and the menu bar... There is a huge gap between menu bar on top and banner/ grid1 at the below.. how do I reduced to zero and attached to bottom of menu bar with that of either banner or Grid1?

I'd appreciate your kind help.. I have a hard time in modifying the layouts; as it's quite complex in these templates...

Thanks & cheers!

Hi James,

I'm a little confused as I don't see the banner being used - instead only the Grid1 position

Yes, I've used Grid1 instead of banner - as I don't need slider. I've done it through html module.. either way is fine; what I all need is "full width" of either Banner or Grid1 that is attached to the menu bar (down)..I need to negate the gap that is shown between menu bar & banner/ grid1... I've no idea which layout file to be edited.. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Cheers!

Hi James,

Sorry you've lost me a bit

Is the issue outstanding to move the grid1 module up so its touching the menu bar?

Is it targetting the whole site or just the home page?

#main-row-inner {padding:0;}

Will reduce the space but not sure if you want it affecting all pages

I'm not sure which image you are pointing at.. However, at the moment I'm just doing it as a demo before I could work with these templates.

Thanks again!

Hi James,

add the page class for the home page

.itemid-108 #main-row-inner {padding:0;}

only applies to the home page
