currently I'm using your venture template. My question is related to the duration of the compilation from less to css. I installed a fresh joomla and proceed according your template documentation with the installation of the template as well as the used extensions. I made a template copy and changed the layout from blue to primary. Pressing the compilation button, it seems to take endlees time... What did I wrong or what should I do in a different way to have a successful compilation? Did I overlook a topic here in the forum explaining the issue?

My site is runnig at alfahosting.de As far as I know it is running on

Server: alfa3003.alfahosting-server.de (Localhost via UNIX socket)
Server-Typ: MySQL
Server Version: 5.5.38-1~dotdeb.0 - (Debian)
Protokoll-Version: 10

The PHP Version is PHP-5.3, due to some technical things related to a site running in parallel on the same webspace.

no, the akeeba admin tools pro are not running. I installed the backup package from akeeba extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/access-a-security/site-security/akeeba-backup
Does this have the same influence?

Can I also confirm that you are using the latest version of the template? I released an update at the end of last week which fixes a bug in Joomla 3.4 and the compiler.

thanks to all your replies. So, let me start answering your questions.

- My impression is that it never compieled. But I wouldn't bet on it.
- The max_execution_time is set to 30 sec
- I updated the Joomla to 3.4 and found the problem still present (old template version). Then I installed everything once again, using the latest Joomla 3.3 along with the new template version. The problem is still there. That's also the current situation on the webspace.
- I will create a ticket with the required login details.
