responsiveness

Hi Paul,

while I wait for the update on Zentools I have been starting on my site.
Have a look at fotovanhenk.nl

On desktop it looks fine, on Asus Eeepad (resolution 1200) it's okay.
Menubar shows all the items

On iPad (resolution 2048) however it shows the hamburger menu in the menubar.
Wonder why?
And the pictures in the slideshow loose some information on the left side.
The default size of the images used is 1200 px.Should I use 1024px (half of res iPad?

Have not been playing with the settings on breaking point etc.
Hope you can give me some guidance as you probably built your own site for your photos.

Also wondering what determines in the end the height of a gridrow.

The image in the bottom area (set as bckg) was originally 1200 wide and appr. 250 high.
It was blown up sky high, obviously to fill the height of the gridrow.
So I changed the height of the image with expanding the canvas with black.
Problem solved but still wonder how it works, height wise.

Thx as always

Cheers
Henk

Hi Henk,
Sorry we missed this one.

1. The ipad resolution is actually 1024px and you have your navcollapse set to 1140 so the collapsed menu is showing for ipad in landscape and portrtait. The retina fits more pixels in there but the resulting screen width is still 1024px.

2. The slideshow uses a backstretch technology which means that the images are best fit to the screen. So in some cases the sides of the images will not be seen because the image has been cropped by the script to maintain the aspect ratio rather than squeezing the image to fit.

3. The height of a row is 100% of the current screen or more if the content pushes beyond that.

4. Hope the other answers help with that.

Thanks
