offcanvas menu in focus2

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

The text for the offcanvas menu says:

"This position can be populated by a standard Joomla module or by the menu contents if nav collapse option is set to offcanvas in the template settings."

I am not sure I am understanding this. What menu contents is this referring to?

What I am attempting to do is take an existing main menu and apply it to the offcanvas position when the browser is shrunk and the menu disappears. I attempted this by making a copy of the main menu module and applying it to the offcanvas position. It works fine when the menu is visible but is not working when shrunken and the main menu collapses. In that case, the menu position is just blank without the stacked line icons.

How should I replicate an existing menu in the offcanvas position when that menu collapses.

Hi Scott,

In the responsive section of the template settings what do you have under

"Collapsed Menu Behaviour"

This setting determines what happens to the menu when the the browser is smaller than the nav collapse value specified in the breakpoints section below.

Also you shouldn't need a copy of the menu

It's set to offcanvas as I think it should be.

As for the menu... what you describe is what would think would happen but I didn't get the icon at all until I made it a menu.

Will do!!! I wanted to do that in the first place but having been a dev for a long time I know that its best to go through front line support first. Sorry for the inconvenience.
