Still no joy with reducing the height of the top menu after using both scripts - none of them made any difference. See attached custom.css files with your scripts. I tried them one after the other and changed some of the figures with no success.

The main menu does not look any shorter than it was originally.

It is

Try replacing the current styling with this

#menu ul>li a, #menu ul>li .zen-menu-heading {padding: 0px 30px 0px 20px;}
#menu {min-height: inherit;}
#menu ul>li:last-child a:after, #menu ul>li:last-child .zen-menu-heading:after {height: 40px;}
#menu .off-canvas-trigger {padding: 0px 20px 0px 25px;}
#navwrap #search .zen-icon-search {margin-top: 0px;}

#navwrap #search input {line-height: 28px;}

Its the same elements just different values - that I think is about as short as it can get

You will need to refresh the screen and perhaps clear your browser cache if it doesn't change
