To much space in between menu and blog and between article titles and content

I am trying to reduce the amount of space in between the menu and to article titles in the 4 column blog. I am also trying to reduce the space in between the article titles and the article content. I have tried, but it looks like it is CSS and I do not know where to start.

I am running it locally on my PC using WAMP until I get the site substantially developed.

Are you able to wait till the site is online? - otherwise I'm making educated guesses
