social icons fixed and absolute needed

Hi,I like how the social icons are fixed when using desktop to tablet landscape. But when it switches to tablet portrait and smaller, I think they should be absolute. Fixed just gets them lost when scrolling down the page.
Right now I have this under control with css but thought it should be standard.
Let me know if I am missing some point or I am not seeing this correctly.
