Hi,
I have installed the Xero template and everytime I try to change any parameter in the template then the message appears "Compiling less to CSS and saving your changes". This message stays until the browser fails and when I open again the message to "Save your changes" appears.

the most common is issues relating to admin tools pro - do you have that installed?

Thanks Paul.

This is a fresh install today and we have only installed the template. There is no other software installed.
We have re-installed the template and once we change anything in the Theme Options it stays at the same message.
Is it worth adding the Admin Tools Pro?
Will this help find the error?

No don't install Admin Tools Pro for now

Have you checked the server for memory limits and execution time?

Hi Paul,

I use Letshost to host our domain and I cant confirm the speed or memory available.
I would be very surprised if there is an issue with that.
I am now to this so maybe I am misinterpreting the question you asked.

When you try and compile if you check the browser console window what error do you see?

There are no errors on the cPanel.
I have tried different templates and they work fine.
Its only the Xero one that I am having trouble with and that is the one I want to use.

With the cpanel are you referring to the server log?

With "I have tried different templates and they work fine" are you referring to other JB templates?

With the console I was referring to the browser console e.g. in Chrome press F12 and then clicking the console tab in the web developer tool bar (all when trying to compile)

Yes I have tried other JB templates (MaxBiz2)

The following error occurs on the browser console when compiling:
HTTP500: SERVER ERROR - The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request.
(XHR): POST - scunar.com/joomla30/index.php?template=xero&tmpl=ajax&function=ajax-compiler

Can you check the memory limit?

Maxbiz2 is different than xero as it uses a different framework so compiles differently

Have you tried any other zgfv4 based templates?
