Option "Hide maincontent on front page" also hides other positions

If I turn on the option "Hide maincontent on front page", is also hides other positions below content. I have published a zen module to the "below" position and enabled it for home pages as well as for second menu item (metallbau).
If turn off hide option it appears... Any idea?

Hi Nils,

That is correct it hides below content and above content as its part of the content area block

Are you not able to use a different position on the home page?

OK, my fault. Have moved to grid and it looks great now.
