When I do not include fa in the Zen Shortcodes the offcanvas trigger disappears. When I do not include fa in the template the offcanvas close icon disappears. Whats the deal?

template: "Full Library" or "do not include"

You don't need to include it twice.
Setting it to minimum or full in the template is enough.
Just disable it in the plugin.

Sorry I missed that.

You need to use:

<i class='zen-icon zen-icon-list'></i>

The difference in the template is that the library is names spaced to avoid conflicts. If you use the plugin's version then that would be ok.

When I do this all my fa icons disappear as well as in all third party components.

with that:the close icon for the offcanvas disappears and the alert messages are not styled anymore which is because bootstrap css is not included any more.

Bootstrap and font awesome are separate options.

Exactly, that is why I wonder why bootstrap is effected and not loaded despite I have everything ticked. Bootstrap.js is loaded but not the css.

Can you ping your ticket with the access details and Ill take a look?
