Why is the single quite invalid?

The save button in the theme panel saves and compiles the theme. The top left save saves the theme without compiling.

All of this will be documented.

... I just added the second script tag and all values are back to default, all customisation lost ... I cant spend any more hours on that ... back to New Lifestyle for me

not really , because I do not enter passwords in Chrome for security reasons, why not making the forum work in FF? I could send the files via email as well

Re not making changes - when you change the settings they are stored in a file and retrieved.

The specs say single is okay, but I read somewhere that single quotes might cause problems rendering the page to invalid HTML. But that might not cause the problems in this template.

Ok thanks for providing the files Ubunti. The issue was that line breaks in the textarea was breaking the json object.

Ive uploaded v1.0.2 now which fixes this and also restructures the settings folder a little.
Edward does v1.0.2 solve your issues?

If not please outline the steps I need to replicate the issue.

The script tags work but 1.0.2 still does not store the select "style-preset" and "layout_preset". After hitting the green save button these fields are back to default.

Ive noticed youve added a few other posts here - is this still an issue?

If so please outline the exact steps so that I can reproduce it.

Ive set and changed the style preset here and it saves as expected.

reproduce:
- go to "General Layout Settings"
- put in the custom name "new" at "Widths" and hit the blue "Save Layout" button
- hit the green save button

expected:
- "new" is in the "Widths" drop down

actual:
- "all_positions" is in the drop down

Ok thanks - will look at this with the other things Ive mentioned.

Your layout is actually saved to the config file so you arent losing the settings. and the value in the select box doesn't determine the layout that is loaded when a page loads. So your settings will be stired in the config json file but the layout preset is just not showing which was the last preset used.

Ill fix this today.

I dont get this with the style preset. Do you?

"style-preset" and "layout_preset" behave exactly the same, upon hitting the green save button they both are back to default. I now save everything at the defaults so I don't loose anything anymore.

Using QuickStart Just downloaded the 1.02 and no change.
