I'm using the Tabs module position in Newstream2, and it won't activate the first tab module assigned in the Tabs module position as active when the page loads.

Disabling template JS compression restores the functionality correctly.

Hmm thats a weird one. Can you re-enable the compression and clear your J cache perhaps to see if that fixes the issue? If not I'll need to see the link when the error is there to see what the console yields.

Also did you go to JDay AU? I couldn't make it.

I reenabled compression and cleared cache and still the focus doesn't come up on a default tab. Tried both types of compression.

Happy to leave it as it is for the moment - will configure a site later for you to test it on.

Didn't make it to JDay Australia - only found out a few weeks ago it was on. Currently on the hunt for competent entry level php programmers with Joomla interest/experience... but as you know they're somewhat few and far between.
