I've only done a few joomla sites, so I'm a novice. I'm using the quickstart package for newstream 2 and I want to use the tile "with blocks" templete but there seems to be no way to select that. I can see the example but I can't seem to find where to make it the default template. Thanks for any help.

Zenkit is a series of k2 templates - are you familiar with k2?

Yes I pretty sure I have K2 loaded, I've even imported the articles over to it and the extension manager shows K2 components. What the K2 admin page doesn't show is how to make the zenkit K2 template that I want, tile "with borders", active or published to the website.

In the k2 category - what do you have listed under?

No idea, can't find anything called "select a template". Not sure where this K2 Category your talking about is. I can go to the control panel where I have a lot of K2 quick icons. I can go to the menu option "Components - K2" and look at that drop down menu but no template options. I can go to "Category Manager" but still no template options.

Hi there.
To change the template for a category in K2 you need to look in two places.

1. Go to components > k2 > categories. Edit the category you want to target and then select the template.

2. Or if you have created a menu item that points to multiple K2 categories then you will nee to go to menu manager > main menu (or which ever menu you added the menu to) and then select the template in the menu settings.

It's likely though that the first option is what you are looking for.
