Custom Code stripping HTML

Hi, Suddenly (seemingly) the code I have been writing in the Custom Code field of the Template Manager is being stripped. (Even though the T3 page notes "Add custom code to some special positions of webpage. Those markup will not filter.[/] Please be careful when copy code from other websites.")

How do I fix this?

(even though the Global Configuration and JCE Editor settings should be unrelated, I have checked these, and they are all set to No Filter etc

Have you installed any plugins recently?
Its not a template issue its something else

Have you tried having the type at the start?

Hello,
Yes I have installed RS Firewall. It occurred to me over the weekend that this would be the likely cause. Sorry for my brain fart.
