I don't know how I made the setup with the menu (megamenu)

Thanks but I know how to build a multilanguage site in Joomla 3.

Template and menu use the t3 framework, here the link to the documentation to set up multi language mega menu.

multi language sites can be tricky to get working but they work fine with the megamenu in t3.
