What do the Image resize ratio options do in Presto Edit Gallery screens?

I have noticed the options in the Galleries tab under the section Gallery Details has a pull-down menu named Image resize ratio. It has four options: Crop, Square, Original and Landscape.

Can you tell me what these options are supposed to do? I have flipped back and forth between the options (whatever option you choose is then applied to every gallery?) but I have not been able to see any difference in any of the Gallery displays.

Are you refreshing images after changing the setting and then saving the gallery?

It does change for me when I do this

That is interesting. I suspect by 'refreshing the images' you mean to reload a page that has images on it.

I am
1) choosing an option from the Image resize ratio pull down menu
2) clicking on the Save Gallery button
3) Clicking on the Save button to save the template style
4) refreshing the pages

I am not seeing any changes.

Have you tried the refresh image button in the gallery itself?

OK. Now I understand how it works. I was not understanding that I had to first select the type of crop and then go and crop EACH image individually. But, it makes sense now that I understand it and it appears to be working!
