Is there a preffered PHP version for Presto on Joomla 3.3.6?

My host has me using PHP Version 5.3.29 but I have other more advanced options. Is there a PHP Version preference to use with the Presto template? My other options include:
5.4.33
5.5.17
5.6.1

5.6.1 is too advanced and you may encounter issues with 5.5.17

Is there a particular reason why you want to move versions?

No, I am fine with what I have actually. I just thought I would check with you in case you felt the template functioned better with one over another. :-) Thanks.
