Sticky Nav Issues

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I am having trouble tracking this issue down and there are a few wierd things happening, e.g.
-in the template there is no setting for sticky nav offset, which the information box tells me should appear below (see screenshot 1)
-despite this being turned off, sticky nav is working - (see screenshot 2)
-yet reducing the width of the browser will get to a point where sticky nav is turned off (see screenshot 3)
-

the same thing is happening on my android note 3 (see screenshots 4 and 5

)

I would really like to leave sticky nav on for device widths large and medium but turn off for small and extra small, however as a quick fix how would I disable sticky nav completely.

I have read heaps of articles but given the base template not appearing as it should will seek your input.

Many thanks

Mike

P.S. Using Lifestyle2 v1.0.2 , zentools 1.13.7, T3 2.5.1

Hi

Can you downgrade to the t3 version available on the template download page and then compile

I'm also assuming you are changing the settings on the right template version?

Cheers
Paul

Before downgrading the T3 version please make sure you have a backup in place

Hi Paul

Have done so, no change.

As a test I downloaded the template, JB and T3 and installed onto a XAMPP site to test as well.
This gave an identical result as my dev site, no setting for sticky nav offset and same result on scrolling/browser widths.
Both sites Joomla 3.4.8.
Thanks

Mike

Hi ike,
That looks like a weird one can you create a ticket with FTP details so I can look more deeply into it?
Thanks

Hi Anthony

Sorry for delay in replying..holidays :)

I think the issue may have more to do with the sites being a migration from joomla 1.5 and using JMS mutisites than with your template.
Other issues have come up with the sites and at the moment I would just be happy to remove the sticky nav functionality if that is possible.
Can you let me know how I can achieve this.
Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,
No probs at all.
Perhaps open a ticket with J login and ftp details and I can check why it's not working for you.
Thanks!
