Explicity Show Print and Email Icons

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi. I am using the Lifestyle2 Template.

My customer is asking to display the print and email icons explicity rather than hidden in a dropdown menu.

What is the best way to approach this?

Hi

There isn't a setting for this - it would require css and php changes

Not straight forward

I'm guessing that those changes would be to the Joomla Core as opposed to the template itself?

No its to the template files

I'm not sure how best to approach this myself so will ask when developers are online

No worries - I did a little more research and a "Template Override" seems to be the answer - not difficult to implement via this method:
