making off-canvas appear

In mobile format, I have an offcanvas menu published... but it's not visible in mobile format. Is there some trick I don't know about?

Thought that would be the case - the off canvas is on the same position as the menu position and you are not using that row

Monday...arg. I was hoping to be 99% today.

EDIT: I'm going to try a small module for now. LMK once we have an answer - would rather stay within the LS2 playpen for this
