Mysterious Pop-Up Window in Back-End

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I've been attempting to figure out this issue for much of the morning. When I go to the Lifestyle Template (T3 framework) in the back-end of www.rollinghorse.ca, I have an automatic new tab show up in Firefox that directs to my main website.

The same process in Chrome attempts to open a new tab. I have an updated T3 framework. I have searched the DB for all references to www.forwardthinkingwebsolutions.com and have deleted them but it still redirects.

It appears to me that the template is looking for something that it cannot find.

I was wondering if you might have any idea what might be happening here. It's probably something simple but I can't put my finger on it.

Do you have a screenshot of what it looks like?

There really isn't much to show. As soon as I open the template in manager it triggers something that is loading. The Chrome screenshot simply shows the loading bar.

Hi,

I think this might be related to your copyright link which goes to that website with a blank target and possibly a plugin or module functioning on the homepage.

Can you try removing the copyright link to see if it still happens.

Also check any 3rd party plugins.

I think we would need a ticket with access details to look any further.

Regards,

Rob

It appears you nailed it by pointing to the copyright. I disabled it thru the template and BINGO it worked. For future reference and so I do not have to bother you, what might I look for to determine where this issue might have come from.

Sounds like you had it opening a new window or similar behaviour
