We are unable to see contents in the site. We have activated modules which display content titles and images in the homepage, however, the link to content from article titles and from menus does not work. It seems as if the main content position was not active.

Two different issues here >

1. Home page not displaying article content

Can you open up the layout tab in the template settings and scroll down to the bottom

Do you see "Remove mainbody output from homepage" set to "on"?

2. Clicking module content and it reloads the Home page

This sounds like the itemid issue - to fix this problem make sure you have menu links pointing to the content

The menu doesn't need to published on the site it just needs to exist in the system

You can add either links to articles or links to its category

We are power users of Joomla. We are aware about needing to link contents to menus, visible or invisible. That is not the case here, all contents are linked to the main navigation. When we replace the template the contents show up so it is a template issue. We have pressure to move on, please assist. Please let us now what is the name of the position for the content/body text.

In this particular site we do not need to publish articles in the homepage. Just to test everything we have assigned content to the homepage and it does not display. We bought the developer template so we really expect this to work. Please assist. Regarding your suggestion, we have turn on and off the main body output and it did not make any difference.

When selecting items form the menu the URL seems to indicate that I am accessing the content, however it is transparent: www.paho.org/uhexchange/index.php/en/national-processes
