Module Title Header Tag Question

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Is there a reason why the advanced properties of modules where you set the header tag from H3 to H2 does not work in Base3?

Just want to adjust a couple of module title sizes from the default to H2.

I can see the Module.css file in the template, but only want to adjust 2 modules from the default to H2, so don't want to make the default H3.

Thanks for your help :)

Just as a clarification are seeking to increase the font size or change the font tag itself?

Hi Paul

Just want to change it from H3 to H2 - as per the template CSS

The 2 modules I'd like to change are below the slider btuh14.cloudaccess.net - client wants to emphasis the module titles.

The remaining modules below are fine using the default H3

Thanks
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

I'd add a class to the respective modules advanced tab and target the heading title that way (adding a space first)

.moduletable.yourclassname h3 {font-size: ?;}

Cheers

Thanks Paul

I'd thought of that, but I'm not sure why the Joomla functionality is not working - especially as the alternative for a client is difficult to do?

Any other solutions to get Joomla's built in function working appreciated

Hi Stuart,

Can you please try using the attached file to replace modules.php in the templates html folder.

I think that should fix the issue for you.

Regards,

Rob

Hi Rob,

Does not seem to have made any difference.

Thanks for the file though :)

Do you have a link to the site?

What module style are you using?

Hi Rob,

Here is the site link btuh14.cloudaccess.net and it is the top 2 modules under the slideshow we are trying to convert from h3 to h2

As you can see, we've customised and created a local theme for the site, but the HTML modules files don't have a local file in the theme folder so assumed the new file sent over simply went into the HTML folder in the template.

Cheers

Hi Stuart,

Looks like I edited the t3xhtml module style rather than the default.

Try the attached.
