why centered image in article is no posible

Hallo

I try to put some pictures in the center of the article (horizontal alignment) and unfortunately it´s no posible, also not ajust a image side by side with other.
Some special trick for that?
I use the JCE editor here the link, please scroll down untill see the smile images

Hi Ricardo,

I'd try wrapping them in a div rather nested strong and p tags

Align the div using external css

I can do that, but the author and editor people probably wannt only cline on the center align button on the editor .

Well the code you had couldn't work as it was invalid

If it was a case of centering an image that may work but not within nested block level elements
