Vimeo in Lightbox

I have a zentools grid layout with articles displaying from different categories & the articles are images only. I'd like to link each of the images to a vimeo video that opens in a lighbox. I've tried this in zentools & in the articles themselves without success. Is there a way to do this?

What is the vimeo video in?

Is it in an article?

I tried to create a vimeo link from the image in the articles but it did not work.
