Module Class Suffix

I realize this must be something very basic I'm missing, but adding a module class suffix to a simple html module has no effect.

I have tried several, like primary1 etc. Can I PM the link as it is a client site under development?

Can you create a ticket for the site and then the whole team can view the problem
