Tabs Content in New Lifestyle Template

I'm setting up a new site using the New Lifestyle Template. I would like to include content in a similar fashion to the Demo template. I would like to have 3 Custom HTML Modules and 1 Hikashop content module.

I have created the 4 modules and assigned them to the a custom Tabs position.

The modules are stacking one under the other, and display full content instead of being arranged as a collection of tabs.

I suspect there is a configuration setting I've missed? Is there documentation for template configuration with step by step instructions that you could send me?

Do you have the module titles enabled in the modules?
