New Lifestyle - hikashop version

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi JB Team,
what version of Hikashop is used in this theme?

Additionally, I am trying to locate the place where the Hikashop product parameters settings are that are described in the New Lifestyle documentation for cart tabs.

we like the display of the tabs as featured in the demo and had hoped those settings would be included in the Quickstart package.

any detail you can provide is greatly appreciated!
Pam

Hi Paul,

I successfully loaded the files, however the system is not recognizing the custom.css file.

Please advise.

When in Chrome and I choose "inspect element" rather than seeing theme.css for example - you can see in the picture a different file name.

Not sure if this has anything to do with how i installed the files or not.

Thanks in advance,
Pam

Hi Pam,

1. disable any css compression
2. Check the file is named correctly
3. Check file permissions - some hosting set ups it can be reset to 444

Hi Paul,

we are on Siteground. the custom.css is named properly and the settings are the same as with other installations of New Lifestyle.

Siteground confirmed it isn't being blocked by their server so suggested to pursue this with you.

Any suggestions?

thanks,
Pam

Hi Pam,

If you are working on the same siteground servers that I work on using the joomla admin backend css editor causes the custom.css to go 444 when saved

Are the permissions 644?

Odd I'm in

Its not listed in the files - can you paste in how its named?

Are you able to load the file in the browser using the path to the file?

Hi
looking via firebug I am seeing "ignite" listed as the template rather than newlifestyle and I can't find
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/templates/newlifestyle/css/custom.css"> anywhere in the header.

Could this be causing the issue?

Hi Pam,

You're right that is weird

What happens if you switch to a joomla default template?

Hi Paul,

Switched to Beez and created a new custom.css and the file is not showing either.

The link to override seems to be missing. but still don't know why "ignite" is showing as the template when New lifestyle is the one selected.
