I have my own laptop setup as an webserver (Joomla 3.3 running on Appache and MySQL) using XAMPP. I have donwloaded the following zipfiles:

JB_Lifestyle2_J2.5_J3+_v1.0.1.zip
JB_Lifestyle2_Quickstart_J333_v1.0.1.zip
JB_mod_skillset_J3+_1.2.1.zip
JB_mod_zensocial_J2.5_J3.1_1.1.1.zip

Using the "Install from directory" option to install each zipfile (in which order?) through the Extension manager (localhost/joomla/administrator?

Hi

A quickstart file contains joomla so that can only be installed to an empty folder inside your server

Drop the downloaded quickstart file into the named folder and then extract it

Basically the same workflow as you normally do from here

JB_Lifestyle2_J2.5_J3+_v1.0.1.zip

This needs to be installed via the standard joomla installer as you would with any extension

It doesn't need to be installed via directory just the normal upload package File tab

The extensions

JB_mod_skillset_J3+_1.2.1.zip
JB_mod_zensocial_J2.5_J3.1_1.1.1.zip
T3 plugin

Are all installed again via the "upload package File" tab

But this is aimed at live servers using cpanel
