No left position

Hello,
…strange that for this template and next to the main content you offer two positions on the right (sidebar) and no position is available for the left :huh:

Hi

It would depend on what layout you are using
Some layouts offer sidebar-1 on the left

...just for information, I think you made a mistake in the layout customization and assigning the default sidebar-left position. The modules are in right position ... :dry:

Hi

Sometimes there can be glitches with that graphic section of the template - e.g. the columns on this screen don't change when the layout is switched

You should still the layout changed on the actual front end of the site once modules are loaded to sidebar-1

...ok thank you, but now I've a problem with the footer…
Why is it not possible to have 12 columns to display it, in the template manager it's set to 8 and I don’t have the opportunity to set on 12, like this the text will never be centered…

Another thing, why the element div#bottomcolour goes to the top when I don’t have many items on the page? Should I use the fixed position to fix it on the bottom?

Thank you

Hi

Its due to the copyright position being fixed at 4 widths - I can give instructions on how to alter that?

The problem with fixing the footer would be making it responsive - you could instead try a min height value instead

yes, thank you ;)

I think I'll wait because other modules on the left will be added and the height of the page will change…

If you go here

\templates\newlifestyle\tpls\blocks\footer.php

You will need to remove or comment out

<div class="span4">
<div id="zen-copyright">
<?php if (!$this->params->get('copyright')) { ?>
<span>Joomla Template by Joomlabamboo</span>
<?php } else {
echo $this->params->get('customcopyright');
}?>
</div>
</div>

and change the span8 to span12

I should point out as well that you need to have purchase rebranding to do this

and to make a copy of the file and when you update the template you will need to redo this step
