Can not find custom.css file

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Dear Paul et al.

I am working on the site (now online) I think there were two templates. Lifestyle main page and Lifestyle subpage.. I think I deleted the main page template which is fine because I made another home page from the subpage.. but now I can not access the custom.css file that I have to make changes to. Can you help?

/* edit */

Thank you very much.

right - please don't post access details in a live forum

Something nasty is likely to happen

I'm removing those details now

hmm odd - what files are listed if you access the site via ftp or the cpanel in the hosting account?

Not sure but

You do have two problems with the site set up

1. PHP version needs to be updated from 5.3.3 - this won't be sufficient to upgrade to the next version of Joomla
2. Your upload limit is too low its only 2mb

I'd talk to your hosts about both these issues - although you could possibly do it yourself I would talk to the host first

Once you have the upload limit and php increased look to install akeeba backup core and akeeba admin tools

Backup

Then look it see if there are any permission issues or just go to admin tools and fix them there

Yes this can be a Joomla 2.5 template as well as a J3+ template

It depends on the Joomla installation - your site is definitely
Installed Joomla! version 3.2.3

Yes I'm not sure on that so will ask a developer but your site system does need an upgrade :)

The custom css file does still exist its just not showing from the Joomla backend of the site

As it can be found here

www.oasiswebdevelopment.com/lifestyle/templates/newlifestyle/css/custom.css

The custom.css file will be sitting inside the newlifestyle template css folder - its just we can't see it for some reason

Thank you for getting back to me. I just went to my office where I have the Lifestyle Quickstart template installed on my MAMP (local host). Same exact problem... the other Lifestyle template (not the quick start) has the custom.css file showing and both of the Lifestyle Quickstart installations (MAMP) AND on my Oasis server show no custom.css file.. doesn't that mean that the problem lies in the Lifestyle Quickstart files.. and if so.. how can I rectify the situation?

Thanks for your help again.

To anyone else having this issue....

In the template manager, click on the options button and enable template previews.
