Position top4 does not exist in my New Lifestyle template

Hello,
I do not see top4 as a position in the dropdown list of positions when trying to select a position for a module. When I click the configuration cog in Template Manager, it is not in that drop down either, although other positions such as panel1 show up preselected when I click the config cog for that position. Any ideas??

Have you tried typing it into the position box?

Do you see it in the responsive layout section of the layout tab?

Typing the position into the position box worked - just took me surprise! I carry on!

(I do see top4 in the Responsive layout; it can only be hidden, however..no problem with that...)
