I'm not sure if there's something in particular with this temp however, no matter what type of cart that i use when I make a menu option to the cart the page doesn't display anything. I used k2store, and recently hikashop when I click on an add to cart feature or checkout or have a button that goes directly to a cart feature. It just shows a blank page. I think it may be due to the fact that this temp uses 1 template for the homepage and then another layout for the subpages. THat's the only thing i can assume. Thanks for your assistance.

Blank page as in entirely white or just no content on the page?

Now that I drilled into the site more.. it appears that none of the menu options are working outside of the Home Menu

Sounds like SEF urls - have you set them up and changed the htaccess?

I think i figured it out... I had on the template manager new lifestyle template front page marked as default

But when I made the sub page LifeStyle template as the default the menu started working as normal

Could be a few reasons why this worked

But its working so happy days
