One Page Template, Looking for Advice on where menu links open

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

On the one page template, when I click on a menu item, for example FAQ, the resulting page opens about 2/3 down the front page. This causes the reader to scroll down to find the information requested. I would like this to open "higher" on the page. I'm writing the forum for advice.

This is my first Joomla project and with respect I'm asking the forum for patience with what may be a very simple answer. I can also say with confidence the template provided by Joomla Bamboo was exactly what I needed and I've learned more about Joomla than I had expected by working through my project. I just need a bit of touch up.

I have not published the site but it can be viewed at

Are you looking to tighten the space up a bit?

I can't see the faqs section so taking an example of
- qualifications

#grid4wrap .zen-container {padding: 30px;}

If you add this to the custom.css file - does this help with the space?

Cheers

Great reply and response, i appreciate it. Good advice about "tightening it up"

I think your comment highlights my problem, the FAQ is at the bottom of the page and when one clicks on it, then it opens about 2/3 down the page, where people can't initially see it. Of course one can scroll down to find it but in most cases would not do so. That's my problem.

Again, thanK you for the recommendation to "tighten it up" - good advice

ah - you are blending a one page template with a menu at the bottom?

Is that right?

right its not really intended to work this way

With the faq are you able to either disable the modules above it on that page(menu link) or remove the module, duplicate them and change the position so they are below the faqs section?
