Nebula Imageslider not working

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi there,

First time working with the Nebula template and gosh it's a little overwhelming I have to say. I'm trying to get an image slider into the banner position, as shown on the demo site below:

demo.joomlabamboo.com/

I have all the necessary features that I need installed on joomla, however when I try to add the image slider, I only get to see a small grey bar with no pictures.

Did anybody have a similar problem? Or would be able to give some kind of advice on how to overcome the problem?

Hi,

thanks for your reply. I'm currently working on a local server host, so the site is not actually available as such yet.

Any tips or suggestions would be really helpful.

Hi

Its very hard to troubleshoot issues without a link to see the site

Are you working in a quickstart? - if not its normally very helpful to install the quickstart locally as well so you can copy settings

I've attached a zip of the quickstart settings

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,

thanks for your reply.

Thanks for your help.

I am not using the quickstart package because I keep getting the following message upon installation: (See attachment)

Thanks for the slideshow info already.

Hi

You can't install any quickstart packages to an existing Joomla site

Any quickstart contains the Joomla cms itself as well - so you need to extract the quickstart zip to an empty folder and then install as per normal

Remembering to install the default demo data if you are asked to chose that option

Ok, so extracting the quickstart zip would be in a htdocs folder you mean if I work from local?

Good luck with it

This is how I first worked with Joomla templates - a real site and alongside a quickstart version to copy off
