Component not showing up after installation

Hello

When I install components they do not show up in the components menu after installation.
I encountered this problem before but I forgot how to solve it.
Might be a Joomla problem but any help is welcome.

whoops: already found a "solution" : just install the component once again over the existing installation. (without uninstalling)
