Inspire Front Page Grid

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I'm suddenly getting numbers in the front page grid on Inspire.

The URLs use to look like this: www.domain.com/services/services-3 and go to the content page as expected.

Now the URLs look like this: www.domain.com/9-services/9-services-3 and simply cycle back the the home page but changing the Tab to the title of the correct page and the URL reflecting the new funky version.

What happened, can I fix it?

If you'd like to see the problem for yourself. bulaworkdsdev2.com. The Services tab in the grid doesn't work correctly, but the fundraising tab does work correctly.

Hi

The bottom link doesn't seem to work even with removing the full stop but it sounds like the menu id issue can you take at this article

www.joomlabamboo.com/blog/tutorials/how-to-avoid-the-joomla-menu-itemid-issue

It sounds like the you have removed/changes the menu links meaning joomla is getting confused trying to load the page

Wow, fast response.

Yes, I had turned off the top-level navigation menu for that grid/tab. I turned it back on and things work.

Let me ask the other question because it was what I was trying to work around.

This site is for a high school parent booster club. They sell sweatshirts, coffee mugs and such with the school logo.

I'm trying to put some products into a category to display on a tabs and then when clicked on I want them to go to the store (Hikashop) and not to the content page. Is it possible? I think not because the logic would mess up all the other tabs created in the module.

Can I put a module into this module in anyway?

I'll go read the tutorial while I wait to see if you have any ideas. Thanks.

I'm not a 100% certain what you mean

You can use modules anywhere to load a module in a module

www.nonumber.nl/extensions/modulesanywhere

With zentools you can use external links to target pages on a site also if that helps? (point 6)
