Image sizing on an iPad

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Is there a way to get the frontpage images to resize correctly on an iPad? On my site (and your live preview site) using an iPad the images in the frontpage folio resize correctly when held horizontally. When the iPad is help vertically things are not so good.

Thanks.

Hi

since I don't own iPad I have no idea what means not so good.
Do you have some screenshot explaining that issue.

I have no idea how to do a screen capture with an iPad, but resizing the screen on a PC creates the same effect.

It must have something to do with width and is probably a minor adjustment. So, if you would point me towards where to look, I'd appreciate it.

Screen shot attached.

Well, I don't see it no matter how I try. What browser are you using??

The image I posted was from Chrome, but the same thing happens in FF and IE. I don't consider it a problem with a desktop/laptop browser; I'm only using them to recreate the issue/concern with an iPad in a vertical orientation.

This is so minor; I feel like I'm wasting your time.

Oki, I am really very sorry but nothing like this I can see in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. I don't know if this is caused because I am on OSX and you are using Win, but...

Hi

Just thought I'd have a look at I'm a PC

I see a flash of this if I resize by dragging the screen smaller on my pc but if I set the screen width to open in a new window at the same height / width it looks fine

e.g. 600x800 screen size

If you install the web developer tool bar on firefix and set the the "resize" option to different sizes do you still see it?

Cheers
Paul

Zuzuzu, it's fine with me to just move on. Thanks for taking a look.

Paul, I'm not concerned with it in FF, Chrome, IE, etc... I was just using those browsers to duplicate the problem. As far as iPad goes, I guess folks are just going to have to flip it the other way.

Thanks again.

Well, I am not so happy to move on as this is weird. I would prefer to fix it. But I just can't replicate in any browser I have here :(
