The Vintage template (installed on J2.5.4) does not show any css background images when "Compress System and core css files?" is enabled. In troubleshooting with Firebug, it seems the url for the images is truncated at the beginning of the path.

For example, the "stitch" horizontal images show up like this: background: url("emplates/jbvintage/images/stitch.png")

Yes looks like the path is getting messed up:

174.121.133.154/~cbca/cache/zengridframework/css/emplates/jbvintage/images/bg/dark.jpg

I have noticed that on a localhost before but never on a live server. I think this is related to the temporary url and will be resolved once you move to the final url.

Ill add this to the bug tracker to see if we can get a fix but I think at this stage you will need to disable compression until it's moved to the final url.
