Making custom settings for Zengrid for particular pages

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi

We have a page on our staging site where we want to alter the zengrid 'margin-left' so that zen-4 is a bit closer to zen-8 when over 787px page width.

Is this possible perhaps by creating a CSS class targetting a div that surrounds zen-4 or by some other method?

Thank you

Brian

Hi Brian,

I'd look to use one of the page classes and in particular the item number class that is unique to each page

Depending on the template you can see the classes either on the html or body tags

I'd view the source code of the particular page to what class you need to add

Once you have the item class e.g. will look like itemid-682
the number is unique to each page

Then you add the other styling you want to use

If this isn't clear add a link for the site and a reference to what area of the page I'm looking at and we can take a look

Hi Paul

Thank you for your replies.

I managed to add a page class which showed up in the source code okay for the relevant page. Unfortunately after that I lost my way as to how to go about targetting it at zen-4 in one part of the page for over 787px only. If you can give me some further guidance that would be appreciated.

As the page is on a password protected staging site I will send login details via a ticket. Thank you.
